The Village of Baytowne Wharf is a favorite hangout for people staying in Sandestin and beyond. Located on the Bay side within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Baytowne features a variety of boutiques, cafes, restaurants, play areas, nightlife, and special events. Activities in Baytowne include a playground, zipline, rock wall, and an arcade. Restaurants range from coffee and ice cream shops to fine dining to bars and nightclubs.

During the summer, weekly fireworks displays light up the sky, while during the winter, an ice skating rink keeps you having fun on cold nights.

An extension to Sandestin, Grand Boulevard offers all the amenities without leaving the resort. Grand Boulevard is located on the East end of the Sandestin Bay side. This shopping center offers a number of high quality restaurants and shopping experiences, Starbucks, Publix supermarket, and a New Vision movie theater with Ovation Club and Big-D theaters.

Special events often take place in the Grand Boulevard park. A farmer’s market is held every Saturday from 9am-1pm, food, wine, and art festivals are held throughout the year, and concerts and theatre events are regularly scheduled.

Grayton Beach

Grayton Beach is part of the Grayton Beach State Park, the most popular parks in the state of Florida. Salt marshes, sea oat covered dunes, crystal-white sand, and blue-green waters make up this state park. Western Lake, the second largest coastal dune lake in the Florida Panhandle, is just one of the many coastal dune lakes that visitors see while driving down Scenic Highway 30A. This park also offers facilities for swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and camping. Grayton Beach provides visitors with lots of different activities. This park covers a 2,200-acre area. Included in this 2,200 acres is space for recreational vehicle and tent camping as well as 30 cabins accommodating up to six people.

Destin Commons is Destin’s favorite shopping mall and dining destination with a great selection of restaurants, quick serve, and treats.

Opened in 2003, the center features more than 90 well-known local and national names in retail and dining totaling 500,000 square feet, as well as 70,000 square feet of Class A office space.  It was voted Best Place to Shop by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine.

Silver Sands Premium Outlets is home to 110 designer and name-brand outlet stores including Coach, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. Visitor’s can find a variety of shops ranging from women’s apparel and accessories to housewares and sporting goods.

Known as the premier shopping destination along Northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast, the outlet is located off US Highway 98, one mile west of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. This outdoor mall features covered sidewalks, lush landscaping and a children’s play area. There are also a variety of enticing dining options from sit down venues including Carrabba’s Italian Grill to fast casual and grab-and-go options such as Panera Bread and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.
